Give your object a new name, it doesn't really matter what, but if you also keep the original file in your game, you will have to use another name. This will make it able to use both the original CC and your changed bed, next to each other in the game without having any conflicts. Click Next, this will make it into a new package file, using another resource code then the original CC. Click on the "Content drop-down menu" and select "Custom" In Main menu choose "Stanalone Recolor" and click on "Object" So, after you placed those CC's into the Sims 4 Mods folder, do the following: If the CC you are using is not something you made by yourself, I think you were on the right track as for putting the CC into the mods folder of The Sims 4 Studio in your documents folder.ĭoing so will make it able to make a totally new package file which will not replace the original CC. It depends a bit on what you want to do, do you want to override the CC already in your game and becasue of that changing the original CC file too or do you want to create a totally new package file and leave the CC as it is.
